Chantilly Farm is the perfect place to pitch a tent or set up your RV while visiting our part of the Blue Ridge mountains! We are located 6 miles from downtown Floyd and convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Crooked Road Heritage Music Trail.

Southwest Virginia is full of so many interesting places and many of those are within a short drive of Chantilly Farm. Many visit for our awe-inspiring outdoor recreational opportunities, thriving arts and music scene, and some of the best dining options that you’ll find anywhere. No matter your interests, our region has something that appeals to everyone!

The RV campground has 25 full service sites with 50/30amp power, water and septic hookup. The sites have and interesting view, a gravel base, and are level, making setup easy. Browse our photo album for more information.

The farm has tent camping areas A and B with a bath house for each location.  The farm is about 200 acres in size and there are many areas in addition to A & B of the farm that are available for tent camping. When there is not an ongoing event we often tell our tent campers to just look around and pitch your tent in a place of your choice.

The campground is open full time all year --  weather permitting. We do not clear the farm roads when we have snow, however the snow very seldom lasts more than a few days. Long term campers usually have four wheel drive vehicles and can almost always get in and out. We provide winterized water hydrants and heated water hoses for winter RV campers.  The campgrounds are inconvenienced a few days a year by the snow.  Campers are usually ready for the snow with extra food supplies, a sled or skis and just enjoy some winter outdoor recreation.

Dry RV camping is available in many parts of the farm. A few locations have water and  power, however most are just a good hill top or other location. Potable water is available in many locations for campers to fill their water tanks.  A dump station with a potable water source is located on the front part of the farm with easy access. We charge a small fee for its use by RVs not camping on the farm. This may be the only RV dump station operational in Floyd County.
